Requirements:
- MUST: BS or MS in Computer Science
- Experience as a system architect / team leader / lead developer
- Experience in cloud-computing environments: Amazon Web Services - AWS
- Hands-on experience in: LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), REST API, Zend Framework, PHP security, infrastructure architecture design, scalability, MySQL indexing and performance tuning
- Team player in nature, patient and adaptive to changes, self-driven technological guru and leader
- Creative thinker with excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Preferred: previous experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum and/or Kanban
Responsibility:
The main responsibilities of this role are to lead projects across the team, ranging from product requirements and definitions to translating these into technical specifications that deal with architecture, REST API design and implementation, security, performance, user interface, high-level design, and more. Additionally, the system architect will monitor and participate in the implementation of projects by team leaders, developers, and QA.
The ideal candidate is a team player who: knows how to drive and engage developers with technological advancements and change, is a researcher in soul and technological implementer in body, provides guidance and assistance in implementing requirements and technological needs, and is a true leader of innovation in different areas of expertise.

R&D; Manager - Position ID: #1070
We have an exciting opportunity for an R&D; Manager to join our team. This person will be working with our talented development team. We have a great group of people and a fun, open office culture.
Requirements:
- MUST: BS or MS in Computer Science
- Experience as a team leader or a development manager, working under defined procedures and methodologies
- Experience as a hands-on developer in web applications, LAMP (Linux, Apache MySQL, PHP), cloud-computing environments, SaaS products management
- Experience with Agile methodologies, preferably Kanban
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of this role are to manage research and development projects across multiple agile teams, maintain work procedures, allocate team resources, and maintain daily status meetings of the development teams. Additionally, the R&D; Manager will monitor and participate in the implementation of projects by team leaders, developers, and QA, and will be responsible for communicating the requirements between the product and R&D; teams.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is a dedicated and accountable person, knows how to drive and engage developers, and provides guidance and assistance in implementing requirements and technological needs. The ideal candidate also needs to be able to balance between requirements and deliverables, act effectively under pressure, and drive team members to succeed and achieve.

Senior Back-End Engineer - Position ID: #1040
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Back-End Engineer to join our team. This person will be working with our talented development team. We have a great group of people and a fun, open office culture.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
- Team player in nature, patient and adaptive to changes, self-driven developer.
- MUST: REST API, Zend Framework.
- Creative thinker with excellent communication skills.
- Preferred: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience in working with cloud environments, e.g. Amazon Web Services.
- Preferred: PHP Security, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Previous experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies a plus.
Responsibility:
The main responsibilities of this role are to build new and exciting back-end systems using cutting-edge technologies and infrastructure, develop new cool features for SohoOS's platform, and be responsible for SohoOS's back-end framework and technologies.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is a server-side expert; a self-driven individual with high planning, coding, and troubleshooting capabilities; and an expert on PHP technologies, Zend Framework stack, and cloud-computing environments.

Senior Front-End Engineer - Position ID: #1030

Requirements:
- Experience developing Web UI, programming in Javascript and developing AJAX-based web applications.
- MUST: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Object-Oriented JavaScript.
- Team player in nature, patient and adaptive to changes, self-driven developer.
- Creative thinker with excellent communication skills.
- Preferred: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Preferred: JQuery, REST API, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Backbone.js.
- Previous experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies a plus.
